The record should include work that counted, even when it did not look impressive at the time.

Most women aren't under-achieving. They're working from a heavily edited version of their own contribution — the polished project, minus the judgment calls, the prevention, the coordination that made it land. The Credit Edit helps you notice what actually happened, before you need it.

Accuracy is not arrogance.

The work that gets remembered isn't always the work that mattered. The decision that stopped a problem before it started. The judgment call nobody saw you make. The responsibility you picked up quietly, months before it had a title.

None of that disappears because you didn't write it down. It just becomes harder to recall exactly when you need it — in a review, an interview, a negotiation, a case for promotion.

The Credit Edit is where you keep an accurate record, as it happens, so you're never starting from a blank page.

How it works

Two ways in:

Build the evidence. Guided prompts walk you through one piece of work at a time — what was happening, what you were responsible for, what you noticed or decided that doesn't show up in the visible result, the judgment the work required, what changed because of you, and which strengths it demonstrates. Small prompts, not a long workbook.

Quick edit. For the moment that's already fading by the time you sit down. Answer five focused questions and build a stronger, more accurate line. Develop it further later, only when there's a reason to.

What's inside

  • A guided process built from patterns in how senior women's contributions go unrecorded — the judgment, the prevention, the coordination that gets left out of the story
  • Each example built out into a one-line statement, a short paragraph, a fuller interview example, the strengths it demonstrates, and accurate team context
  • Adapted wording for reviews, CVs, interviews, promotion cases, pay conversations and more — the underlying evidence stays the same, only the wording changes
  • Save multiple examples and return to them later
  • Local by design — entries stay in your browser; back up to your own device whenever you like
  • Print or export any example, or the whole file, when you're ready to use it

Who it's for

For the senior woman who has plenty of evidence of her own competence — it's just never been in one place. Built for the moment before the review, the interview, or the negotiation, not instead of it.

Next step

This isn't the finished statement. It's the record you'll draft it from.

The Credit Edit is a place to keep the raw material. When you're ready to turn an example into wording for a review, a CV, an interview or a promotion case, that's a different job — this is where it starts.

FAQ

Does this leave my browser? No. Everything you enter stays local to your browser unless you choose to back it up or export it yourself.

What if I lose my browser data? Use Backup at any time to download an independent copy you control. Browser storage is a convenience, not a guarantee — particularly in Safari.

Do I need to finish an example in one sitting? No. A rough note is a complete entry. Come back and develop it only when you need it.

Is this a career coach? Not a coach, no. But the prompts and questions do what a coach would ask you to think through in a session — and help you build the answers into something usable. You set the pace and the level of commitment. No session, no one else in the room, no advice handed back. What you do with the record is yours.
