What is OPEN BRACKET? OPEN BRACKET is a career support brand built around one idea: women are not falling short on the work. They are presenting an edited version of it. The tools help you build an accurate record of your contribution and use it at the exact moments that call for it — a review, a workload conversation, a negotiation, an exit.
Who is this for? Professional women who want to walk into a workplace conversation with a record instead of a hope. Whether you're preparing for a performance review, asking to reset your workload, or negotiating a new role, OPEN BRACKET gives you the language and the evidence to do it well.
Who's behind OPEN BRACKET? A practising employment lawyer with more than twenty years in the field, including running her own firm. That experience spans advising employers on how these decisions get made, and representing senior women individually in their own negotiations. The tools are built from what that work reveals, again and again, about the gap between what women contribute and what they say out loud.
Is this legal advice? No. OPEN BRACKET tools are career preparation resources, not legal advice, and using them does not create a relationship between lawyer and client. If your situation involves a genuine legal question — a dispute, a dismissal, a contract issue — speak with a qualified employment lawyer in your own jurisdiction.
Is this coaching or therapy? No. There's no program, no ongoing sessions, and no homework. Each tool is a self contained resource you use once, at the moment you need it, then set down. A career coach on your terms.
The Tools
What products does OPEN BRACKET offer? A set of tools, each built for a different workplace moment — building your record, preparing for a specific conversation, or getting ready for what comes next. What each one covers and produces is set out on its own product page.
Which tool do I need? It depends on what's ahead of you. If you're building your case for a review, a promotion, or a new role, start with your evidence. If you're heading into a specific conversation, choose the tool built for that moment. Each product page sets out exactly what it prepares you for.
Can I use more than one? Yes. Many people do. The tools are built to work together — an accurate record, built once, drawn on for whatever conversation comes next.
How It Works
What do I actually receive? Each tool runs in your browser and produces editable, exportable output — statements, scripts, and notes you can copy, print, or save as a PDF. Nothing is emailed to you, and there's nothing to install.
How long does it take? Quick Edit or Quick Mode takes a few minutes. The full guided flow takes longer, and you can save your progress and come back to it.
Do I need to prepare anything beforehand? No. The tools are built to draw the detail out of you as you go. Bring the conversation or the review in mind, and the tool does the rest.
Privacy
Is what I write kept private? Yes. Your entries stay in your own browser session unless you choose to save or export them. Nothing you write is reviewed, shared, or seen by anyone at OPEN BRACKET.
Do you see the details of my situation? No. There is no review, no submission, and no one reading your entries. The tools are self directed by design.
Pricing and Access
How much do the tools cost? Current pricing is listed on each product page. There is no subscription. Each tool is a one time purchase.
Do I get updates if a tool changes? Yes. If a tool you've purchased is meaningfully updated, you'll have access to the current version.
What's your refund policy? As with digital products generally, all sales are final. Because you get full access immediately, we don't offer refunds once a tool has been purchased. If you are having trouble with a product or have questions email us at hello@openbracket.com.au.

Do you offer one to one coaching or calls? No. OPEN BRACKET is built to work without a session or an appointment. The tool is ready when you are.
